There are two main ways to create a link:

  1. Double brackets: Typing [[John Doe]] will create a link to a new obit page with the link text: JohnDoe. On our system you can type [[John Doe]] or [[John Doe]] and the resulting obit will appear as JohnDoe.
  2. WikiWords: Our site employs "WikiWords" as link-creating syntax, so typing JohnDoe will create a link to JohnDoe. There is no need to type the brackets.

Note: WikiWords are compound words where the words are CapitalizedWordsSmashedTogether - this is also called CammelCase because the uppercase "bumps" in the middle of the compound word, suggestive of the humps of a camel.

You can see that the links to JohnDoe all have question marks after them. That's because my new page hasn't been written yet. Clicking the link will take you to an edit form where you can write and save the new page.
