Edward Vincent Sullivan (born September 28, 1901 in Harlem, New York) was a TV personality and sportscaster who was best known for hosting the longest running primetime variety show in the history of TV called, “The Ed Sullivan Show.” Ed died on October 13, 1974 and his death was because of esophageal cancer. He died at age 73.
