Georgie Woods (born May 11, 1927 in Barnett, Georgia) was a radio personality who was best known for his broadcasting career in the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and broadcasted from AM stations such as “WDAS” and “WHAT.” Georgie died on June 18, 2005 and his death was reportedly because of a heart attack. He died at age 78.
