Hume Blake Cronyn Jr. (born July 18, 1911 in London, Ontario) was a film actor and writer who was best known for his role as Joe Finley in the 1985 American science fiction movie, “Cocoon” and its 1988 sequel, “Cocoon: The Return.” Hume died on June 15, 2003 and his death was because of prostate cancer. He died at age 91.
