Powers Allen Boothe (born January 6, 1948 in Snyder, Texas) was a film actor who was best known for his portrayal of Jim Jones in the 1980 miniseries, “Guyana Tragedy: The Story of Jim Jones.” He also played saloon owner Cy Tolliver on “Deadwood,” "Curly Bill” Brocius in “Tombstone,” President Noah Daniels on “24,” and Lamar Wyatt in “Nashville.” Wikipedia Powers died on May 14, 2017 and his death was because of pancreatic cancer. He was only 68.
