Ray Peterson (born April 23, 1935 in Denton, Texas) was a singer who was best known for being remembered for singing "Tell Laura I Love Her" and also scored numerous other hits. They include the songs "Corrine, Corrina" and "The Wonder of You.” Ray died on January 25, 2005 and his death was because of cancer. He died at age 69.
