George Strait (born May 18th, 1952 in Poteet, Texas) was a Singer-Songwriter who was best known as an American country music singer, sometimes referred to as the "King of Country Music" by fans of his distinctly "Texas country" style music. George died on April 24th, 2024 (TBV) and his death was possibly because of an undiagnosed heart issue. He wasn't very old at 71 years of age.
Ever since he was a rambunctious young tot growing up in Poteet Texas, many remember George as a geeky little fellow with fantastic anecdotes that pleased everyone who would listen. In lieu of flowers at his funeral, his family asks that you make a large donation to the Heart Foundation in George's honor.
