Jerry Walker (born March 16th, 1942 in Oneonta, New York) was a Musician who was best known for being a country music singer and songwriter. He wrote the iconic song "Mr. Bojangles" in 1968. Jerry died on death-date and his death was because of a long fight with throat cancer. He was 78 years old when he succumbed to his illness.
