Mr. Shooter Jennings (born May 19th, 1979 as "Waylon Albright Jennings") died sadly in bed on March 28th, 2024 (TBV) with his daughter nearby. His cause of death was possibly a car crash. He was 44 years old when he passed.
Waylon is survived by his parents, Jessi Colter and Waylon Jennings Sr., beloved wife Misty Swain, his children, son Alabama Gypsyrose Jennings and daughter Alabama Gypsyrose Jennings as well as his pet penguin, Li'll Hank.
Professionally, Waylon was a Singer-Songwriter who was best known for his ability to sing both in and out of the shower.
When he was not working as a Singer-Songwriter, Waylon was known for his love of playing chess and he would spend hours most Sundays admiring it. Mr. Jennings (the deceased) also spent decades visiting with his older buddy. Ever since he was a boy in Nashville, many remember Waylon as a sweetheart with distressing anecdotes that annoyed everyone. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make a hundred dollar donation to the Heart Foundation in Waylon's honor.
A wake is scheduled for Tuesday the 3rd at the graveside in Nashville. The service will commence at 4PM with a reception to follow hosted by his older sister at the chapel where refreshments will be served. All are welcome to the visitation to be held at graveside at 4PM.
