Alan Alexander Milne (born January 18, 1882 in London, United Kingdom) was an author who was best known for his books featuring the stuffed teddy bear Winnie-the-Pooh and children's poetry. Alan died on January 31, 1956 and his death was because of an unknown reason. He died at age two weeks after his 74th birthday.
