Mohammed Abdus Salam NI SPk (born January 29, 1926 in Jhang, Pakistan) was a physician and Nobel laureate who was best known for his achievements of the Pati-Salam model, magnetic photon, vector meson, Grand Unified Theory, work on supersymmetry and the electroweak theory, which was the most notable. Abdus died on November 21, 1996 and his death was because of progressive supranuclear palsy. He died at age 70.
