Adrian Joseph Cronauer (born September 8, 1938 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania) was a radio personality and military personnel who was best known as an innovative disc jockey on American Forces Network during the Vietnam War. He is said to have inspired the 1987 film, “Good Morning, Vietnam” starring Robin Williams as Cronauer. Adrian died on July 18, 2018 and his death was because of an unspecified illness. He died at age 79.
