Al Lewis (born April 30, 1923 in Manhattan, New York) was a TV actor, film actor, and activist who was best known for his role as Grandpa on the early American TV series, “The Munsters”. His character was a Count Dracula-lookalike and he performed the role from 1964 to 1966 and its film versions. Al died on February 3, 2006 and his death was because of natural causes. He died at age 82.
