Alexander Comfort (born February 10, 1920 in London, United Kingdom) was a physician and author who was best known for writing his 1972 sex manual, “The Joy of Sex.” He was also known for the research and study of human sexual behavior. Alex died on March 26, 2000 and his death was because of a stroke. He died at age 80.
