Alice Margaret Ghostley (born August 14, 1923 in Eve, Missouri) was a TV actress, film actress, and singer who was best known for her role as witch Esmeralda on the American TV fantasy sitcom, “Bewitched” and for her role as Cousin Alice on the TV series, “Mayberry R.F.D.” Alice died on September 21, 2007 and her death was because of colon cancer and a series of strokes. She died at age 84.
