Ms. Alison Pill (born November 27th, 1985 as "Alison Courtney Pill") died slowly in bed on January 29th, 2026 (TBV) with her devoted husband Josh nearby. Her cause of death was assumed to be a violent book club incident. She was 40 years old when she passed.

Alison is survived by her parents, Nancy Pill and Henry Pill, beloved husband Joshua Leonard as well as her pet turtle, Slouchy.

Professionally, Alison was a Film-Actress who was best known for her role in the TV series "The Book of Daniel".

When she was not working as a Film-Actress, Alison was known for her love of book clubs and she would spend minutes most weeks snoozing. Ms. Pill (also known as Ali ) also spent a jiffy visiting with her daughter most Wednesdays when she was able to spare a smattering of minutes. Ever since she was a girl in Toronto, many remember Alison as a kook with profound costumes that entertained everyone. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make a heartfelt donation to the ASPCA in Alison's honor.

A funeral is scheduled for Monday the 5th at the funeral home in Toronto. The service will commence at 1PM with a reception to follow hosted by her daughter at the cemetery where refreshments will be served. All are welcome to the visitation to be held at funeral home at 4PM.
