Allen Ludden (born October 5th, 1917 in Mineral Point, Wisconsin) was a TV Personality and game show host who was best known for hosting the American TV game show "Password" between 1961 and 1980. Allen died quietly on June 9, 1981 in Los Angeles, after a year long battle with stomach cancer. He was only 63 when he passed.
