Mr. André 3000 (born May 27th, 1975 as "André Lauren Benjamin") died slowly at the Starbucks near his work on January 29th, 2026 (TBV) with his son nearby. His cause of death was possibly due to a street fight. He was 50 years old when he passed.

André is survived by his estranged partner Erykah Badu, his only child, son Seven Sirius Benjamin, as well as his pet kitty, Hank. He was predeceased by his parents, Sharon Benjamin-Hodo and Lawrence Harvey Walker.

Professionally, André was a Musician who was best known as the rapper and hip-hop singer André 3000.

When he was not being a Musician, André was known for his love of gardening and he would spend months most days with his seedlings. Mr. Benjamin (also known as André Benjamin) also spent decades visiting with his older sister most Wednesdays when he was able to spare a few months. Ever since he was a boy in Atlanta, many remember André as a caring person with sad anecdotes that thrilled everyone. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make a hundred dollar donation to the Heart Foundation in André's honor.

A public burial is scheduled for Saturday the 22nd at the crematorium in Atlanta. The service will commence at 10AM with a reception to follow hosted by his older sister at the undertaker's where refreshments will be served. All are welcome to the visitation to be held at crematorium at noon.
