Anthony Tillmon Williams (born December 12, 1945 in Chicago, Illinois) was a musician, composer, and music producer who was best known for being one of the greatest jazz drummers of all time. Tony died on February 23, 1997 and his death was because of a heart attack following gallbladder surgery. He died too soon at age 51.
