Arthur Meier Schlesinger Jr. (born Arthur Bancroft Schlesinger on October 15, 1917 in Columbus, Ohio) was an academic and writer who was best known for The Age of Roosevelt series with three separate volumes that were entitled “The Crisis of the Old Order,” “The Coming of the New Deal,” and “The Politics of Upheaval.” Arthur died on February 28, 2007 and his death was because of a heart attack. Eventually, he died at age 89.
