Bella Savitzky Abzug (born July 24, 1920 in The Bronx, New York) was a politician, lawyer, and activist who was best known for being a U.S. congresswoman of the National Woman’s Political Caucus. Bella died on March 31, 1990 and her death was because of complications of open heart surgery. She died at age 77.
