Betsy Joslyn (born April 19th, 1954 in Staten Island, New York) was an Stage Actress who was best known for being on Broadway. Betsy died on October 13th, 2024 (TBV) and her death was possibly because of a collision with a New York taxi. She was 70 years old.

"Betsy Joslyn led an eventful life. Born in 1850, she was an accomplished musician and composer, and she has been documented in various music magazines and newspapers throughout her lifetime. In 1883, she married conductor erstwhile friend, performing artist and composer George Gershwin. After Gershwin's death in 1937, she took up live-in-the-home life with her two cats, Pete and Peggy. In her later years, she moved to a retirement home in Maine and spent her days playing the piano and reading. (V)"
