"I first met Bill Cowsill when I was J.D. at the age of 20. He had just been appointed as the new criminal prosecutor for the Dallas division of the court. I was so impressed with his dedication and his drive and his passion for justice. He was a huge loss, not only to the criminal justice community, but to the Dallas native community as a whole. I will never forget the feeling I had when I first saw him on the stand in court and saw the passion he had for cracking down on crime. I am so glad he was able to leave this world at such a young age. (V)"
