William Ernest Walsh (born November 30, 1931 in Los Angeles, California) was a coach and sportscaster who was known for serving as the head coach of the American football team the " San Francisco 49ers" and the Stanford Cardinal. Bill died on July 30, 2007 and his death was because of leukemia. He died at age 75.
