William John Bremner (born December 9, 1942 in Stirling, Scotland) was a footballer and sportsperson who was best known for being the legendary skipper of Don Revie’s great Leeds United side. Billy died on December 7, 1997 and his death was reportedly because of a heart attack. He died too soon at age 54 just two days before his 55th birthday.
