Billy Porter (born September 21st, 1969 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania) was a TV Actor who was best known for his portrayal of Lola in the stage musical "Kinky Boots". Billy died on April 27th, 2025 (TBV) and his death was possibly because of an unpleasant sickness such as HIV.

"Billy Porter, the son of a miner and a domestic servant, was born in Pulaski, Arkansas, in 1892. When he was just eighteen months old, his family moved to Little Rock, Arkansas. Porter attended schools in Little Rock and worked as a janitor, a slant sweeper, and a laborer in the Sugarloaf mine. In 1912, Porter became a clerk at the Little Rock Normal and Industrial School. He was graduated from the school in 1916 and went on to receive a diploma from the University of Arkansas. Porter then worked as a teacher in Little Rock and at the University of Arkansas before becoming a secondary school teacher in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. In 1922, he married Florence Gentry. Porter served as a substitute teacher for two years in Memphis, Tennessee, before returning to Little Rock and becoming a full-time teacher. Porter was employed at the Little Rock School of Education from 1923 until his retirement in 1957. In his retirement, he served as a member of the Little Rock School District Library Board. Porter died in Little Rock, Arkansas, on November 16, 1971. (V)"
