Robert Alan Monkhouse (born June 1, 1928 in Beckenham, Kent) was a comedian, TV personality, and writer who was best known for hosting the game shows “The Golden Shot,” “Celebrity Squares,” Family Squares,” and “Wipeout.” Bob died on December 29, 2003 and his death was the result of prostate cancer. He died at age 75.
