Robert Lee Hatfield (born August 10, 1940 in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin) was a singer-songwriter who was best known for singing the tenor part of the musical duo, “The Righteous Brothers” with Bill Medley and for his 1965 solo, “Unchained Melody.” Bobby died on November 5, 2003 and his death was reportedly because of a cocaine-induced heart attack. He died quite soon at age 63.
