Robert George Pickett (born February 11, 1938 in Somerville, Massachusetts) was a singer-songwriter, film actor, and comedian who was best known for co-writing and performing the novelty song "Monster Mash” which was a hit in 1962. Bobby died on April 25, 2007 and his death was documented as being due to leukemia. He died at age 69.
