"Boots Riley life and death was one of the most interesting and unique cases in recent history. His life story is unique in that he was born to an out-of-work father and an uneducated mother. After leaving home at the age of 14, Riley started a life of crime and low-level Piracy. He was eventually forced out of the business by the police. He turned to hip-hop as his new career and released his debut album in 1991. In 1992, he was shot and killed by an unknown gunman in Harlem. Riley's life story and death is a unique and tragic example of how life can turn on a dime. (V)"
