"Boots Riley life and death was one of the most interesting and unique cases in recent history. His life story is unique in that he was born to an out-of-work father and an uneducated mother. After leaving home at the age of 14, Riley started a life of crime and low-level Piracy. He was eventually forced out of the business by the police. He turned to hip-hop as his new career and released his debut album in 1991. In 1992, he was shot and killed by an unknown gunman in Harlem.
