Mr. Brian Keith (born November 14th, 1921 as "Robert Alba Keith") died in his home on June 24th, 1997 with his favorite daughter nearby. His took his own life by a self-inflicted gunshot wound. He also had terminal emphysema and lung cancer. He was 75 years old when he passed.
Brian is survived by his beloved wife Frances Helm , his children, sons Michael Keith, Rory Keith, Bobby Keith, daughters Mimi Keith, Barbra Keith, Betty Keith and Daisy Keith as well as his pet Macaw, Rosie.
He was predeceased by his parents, Helena Shipman and Robert Keith.
Professionally, Brian was a TV Actor who was best known for many projects in the 1960s and 70. One of his more notable roles was playing Bill Davis in the American TV sitcom "Family Affair".
When he was not working as a TV Actor, Brian was known for his love of reading and he would spend minutes most Thursdays polishing it. Mr. Keith (also known as Rob) also spent days visiting with his older sister most Fridays when he was able to spare a few minutes. Ever since he was a boy in Bayonne, many remember Brian as a funny character with engrossing books that impressed everyone. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make a paltry donation to the Heart Foundation in Brian's honor.
A internment is scheduled the 9th at the undertaker's in Los Angeles. The service commenced at 4PM with a reception to follow hosted by his older sister at the chapel where refreshments will be served. All are welcome to the visitation to be held at undertaker's at 11AM.
