Buddy Hackett (born Leonard Hacker on August 31, 1924 in Brooklyn, New York) was a film actor, comedian, and singer who was best known for his movies. His roles include playing Marcellus Washburn in “The Music Man”, Benjy Benjamin in “It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World,” Tennessee Steinmetz in “The Love Bug,” and the voice of Scuttle in “The Little Mermaid.” Buddy died on June 30, 2003 and his death was because of heart disease. He died at age 78.
