Burton Raphael Kennedy (born September 3, 2001 in Muskegon, Michigan) was a screenwriter and film director who was best known for directing many American western movies for which he was named “the best western writer ever.” Burt died on February 15, 2001 and his death was because of cancer. He died at age 78.
