Charles Wright Mills (born August 28, 1916 in Waco, Texas) was a scholar and anthropologist who was best known for being a professor of sociology at Columbia University form 1946 till his death in 1962. C. Wright died on March 20, 1962 and his death was reportedly because of a heart attack. He died really too young at age 45.
