Carl Anderson

Carlton Earl Anderson (born February 27, 1945 in Lynchburg, Virginia) was a singer, film actor and stage actor who was well known for his portrayal of Judas Iscariot in the Broadway rock opera, “Jesus Christ Superstar.” He also starred in the film version of the same musical. Carl died on February 23, 2004 and his eventual death was due to issues related to leukemia. He died at age 58 just four days before his 59th birthday.
