Carlo Ponti (born December 11th, 1912 in Magenta, Italy) was a Film Producer who was most recognized because of his nomination for the Academy Award for Best Picture for producing the movie "Doctor Zhivago". Carlo died on January 10th, 2007 and his eventual death was reportedly because of pulmonary complications. He was 94 at the end.
