Caspar Willard Weinberger (born August 18, 1917 in San Francisco, California) was a politician and businessperson who was best known for being the 20th Former Director of the United States Office of Management and Budget from 1972 to 1973 for President Ronald Reagan, and for being the 15th United States Secretary of Defense from 1981 to 1987 for President Ronald Reagan. Caspar died on March 28, 2006 and his death was because of complications from pneumonia. He died at age 88.
