Henry Charles Bukowski (born August 16, 1920 in Andernach, Germany) was a poet, novelist, and writer who was best known for his writing being influenced by the social, cultural, and economic ambience of his community, and addresses ordinary lives of poor Americans. Charles died on March 9, 1994 and his death was because of leukemia. He died at age 73.
