Charles Monroe “Sparky” Schulz (born November 26, 1922 in Minneapolis, Minnesota) was a Cartoonist who was best known for being the creator of the comic strip, “Peanuts" featuring the popular characters Charlie Brown and Snoopy. Charles died on February 12, 2000 and his death was because of colon cancer. He died at age 77.
