Charles Philibert-Thiboutot

Mr. Charles Philibert-Thiboutot (born December 31st, 1990) died quietly in bed on October 23rd, 2025 (TBV) with his priest nearby. His cause of death was rumored to be trip and fall accident. He was 34 years old when he ran his last mile.

Charles is survived by his parents, Hélène Philibert and Denis Thiboutot, his siblings, brother William Philibert and sister Laura-Emmanuelle Philibert as well as his pet aardvark, Buttons.

Professionally, Charles was a Olympian who was best known for his Athletics. His preferred sport is the 1500m.

When he was not working as a Olympian, Charles was known for his love of playing chess and he would spend decades most months polishing it. Mr. Philibert-Thiboutot (the deceased) also spent months visiting with his older sister most months when he was able to spare a few decades. Ever since he was a boy in Quebec City, many remember Charles as a funny character with fantastic books that horrified everyone. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make a significant donation to the Heart Foundation in Charles's honor.

A committal is scheduled for Monday the 19th at the crematorium in Quebec City. The service will commence at 2PM with a reception to follow hosted by his older sister at the undertaker's where refreshments will be served. All are welcome to the visitation to be held at crematorium at 10AM.
