Charles Allan Rich (born December 14, 1932 in Colt, Arkansas) was a singer-songwriter and musician who was best known for his most remembered 1973 songs, “Behind Closed Doors” and “The Most Beautiful Girls.” Charlie died on July 25, 1995 and his death was reportedly because of a pulmonary embolism. He died quite soon at age 62.
