Ernesto “Che” Guevara (born June 14, 1928 in Rosario, Argentina) was a revolutionary, physician, and politician who was best known for being a major figure of the Cuban Revolution. Since then his stylized visage has become a ubiquitous countercultural symbol of rebellion in popular culture. Che died on October 9, 1967 and his death was because he was executed (gunshot) by the Bolivian Army. He died young at age 39.
