Harland David Sanders a.k.a Colonel Sanders (born September 9, 1890 in Henryville, Indiana) was a businessperson who was best known for being the founder of the American based fast food chicken restaurant chain, “Kentucky Fried Chicken.” Colonel Sanders died on December 16, 1980 and his death was because of pneumonia. He died at the old age of 90.
