Artis Leon Ivey Jr, a.k.a Coolio (born August 1, 1963 in Compton, California) was a rapper and music producer who was best known for gaining success as a rapper in the mid-to-late 1990s with his albums It Takes a Thief, Gangsta's Paradise, and My Soul . Artis died on September 28, 2022 and his death was possibly because of a heart attack. He died too soon at age 59.
