Cory Fulton Lidle (born March 22, 1972 in Hollywood, California) was an American professional baseball player who was best known for being a right-handed pitcher that played with the New York Mets, Tampa Bay Devil Rays, Oakland Athletics, Toronto Blue Jays, Cincinnati Reds, Philadelphia Phillies, and the New York Yankees. Cory died on October 11, 2006 and his death was reportedly because of an accidental plane crash which crashed into the Belaire Apartments in New York City. He died young at age 34.
