Cyd Charisse (born March 8, 1921, in Amarillo, Texas) was a film actress and dancer who was best known for being popular during the 1950’s era and her well known role in the 1953 film, “The Band Wagon. Cyd died on June 17, 2008 and her death was because of a heart attack. She died at age 87.
