Dan Blocker (born December 10th, 1928 in De Kalb, Texas) was a TV Actor who was best known for portraying Eric "Hoss" Cartwright in the American TV series "Bonanza". Dan died on May 13th, 1972 and his death was reportedly because of a pulmonary embolism (bad heart). He was only 43.
