Dan Clive Wheldon (born June 22, 1978 in Emberton, United Kingdom) was an automobile racer who was best known for winning the 2005 IndyCar Series Drivers' Championship for Andretti Green Racing. Dan died on October 16, 2011 and his death was because of an auto racing crash resulting to blunt head trauma. He was quite young when he died at age 33.
