Ibsen Dana Elcar (born October 10, 1927 in Ferndale, Michigan) was a TV actor and film actor who was best known for his role as Peter Thornton in the Ameican 1985-1992 action/adventure TV series, “MacGyver.” Dana died on June 6, 2005 and his death was because of pneumonia. He died at age 77.
