Danny Wells (born April 7, 1941 in Montreal, Quebec) was a TV actor and film actor who was best known for his role as Charlie, the bartender on the “The Jeffersons,” and as his role as Luigi in the live-action/animated series, “The Super Mario Bros. Super Show!” Danny died on November 28, 2013 and his death was a result of cancer. He died at age 72.
